I met a little girl named Chardonnay yesterday. She was five years old and not in school- didn’t feel like going. I would say that her name will be a hindrance but I’m afraid it’s her parents that are doing her more harm. I KNOW that sounds awfully judgemental. At five she’s already skipping school. If she had made a huge fuss and the parents just gave in because it was becoming unbearable then she should have stayed home- no TV, no toys, NO FUN. She should NOT be having a grand old time at the park. What kid wouldn’t be up for that deal- no school we’ll go to the park instead. OK, I’ll get off my judgemental high horse now.
We did have a great time at the park. I took some brilliant photos of Caitlin, Noah and Squidge. You can check it out on my flickr site. If you want to see all of them just email me and I’ll add you as a friend.
I spoke to my mom last night. She just got back from her trip to the Azores. She received some bad news when she got home, my cousin Gina is in ICU w/severe abdominal pain and is on morphine for the pain. I’m worried for her. I have fond fond memories of playing w/ my cousins. We were very close in age, we lived on the same street or one over and well they are my friends. I don’t have a big circle of friends what I do have is family that I consider my friends. Gina is 6 months younger than I am and her son is 6 months younger than Squidge. We both found that funny and it pleased us. I hope she is fine, I pray that she will recover from whatever is wrong, I love her dearly and just wanted to let everyone know that I’m thinking about her.
