Lawnside Mews

So I’m loving this townhouse.  It’s not far from where I live.  It’s gated so I don’t have to worry about bandits breaking down my door.  It’s bigger.  It’s in the same catchment area so I know the primary school is decent.  Now all I have to do is have a look at it to see if the rooms are big enough.  What do you think?  If we stay here we’re paying for the location but the location rocks (in my opinion).  If we move outside of Manchester city limits we’d get more for our money but would have to deal with the nightmarish commute.  All my friends are here.   I don’t need a car if I live here.

Its definitely bigger! I like it. I would want to check out the sizes as I have heard these mews style 3 floor houses can seem quite pokey and small.

Arrange a visit soon, and get Wal to come too.

Check out the location and noise levels as well. Palatine road can get busy, and I’m sure there is a bus terminus round there… that would piss me off, if nothing else.

I like it though… good find!

I know what you’re saying Vic but it has to be better than where I am now in regards to the noise. It looks like it’s one of the townhouses that doesn’t back onto Paletine Rd so it should be quieter. It’s also double glazed which should cut down on the noise. Can you tell I’m totally selling it to myself??

Wow.. that looks really nice… but what about the addition? I thought you were all happy for that?

But it looks like you’re going to be moving.. based on how you’re talking!

Good luck talking Wal into it!

MY boss used to live in a townhouse, but moved when she got pigsick of going up and down the stairs all the time. Move to Chorlton! More for your money indeed!!! Glad to hear you survived your holiday!
