Thumbsucka: an update

As some of you might remember I decided to try weening Squidge off her thumb. It has gone surprisingly well and I can now say that she very rarely sucks her thumb. I still have to ask her to take her thumb out of her mouth when she’s distracted (pushchair or carseat). Those times are becoming less and less, so overall a pretty painless process.

I’m glad it has worked out. 🙂 I can imagine how hard it must have been.

Is she actually IN the elephant enclosure?!

I sucked my thumb till the age of 12, so well done, you’ve achieved something my mother never could!!

Your thumb sucking weaning has gone fantastically. You must have timed it perfectly where she didn’t need it anymore but just needed a little prompting to not do it. Glad it was pretty painless!
