A MADs Carnival – Family Fun and Pre-school Fun

As you know I’m a finalist in the Mad Blog Awards and I’m really really excited about it! It’s such an honor and humbling to be in the company of some really fantastic bloggers.  In order to showcase some of those fantastically talented bloggers I’m participating in a Blog Carnival for Family fun and Pre-school fun categories.

The finalists in these two categories were asked to submit a post to highlight their blog and let people know what they’re all about.  I hope you guys enjoy the posts as much as I did.  They’re all so different and really do speak of who these wonderful Mad Blog Awards finalists are all about.  Enjoy!

All of the Family Fun finalist have such great idea and imagination, it’s sure to spark your creativity to go, GO NOW and read the blogs and let the fun begin!!

Over at Nurture Store there are some really fantastic ideas to make school holiday time a bit less painful and actually down right fun! Such imaginative ideas!

Now Pippa at A Mothers Ramblings knows how to have a good time and always includes her family along with all the zany fun.  Although I have to admit that having met her I know she can have fun all by herself.  The things she can do with some toilet rolls!

Over at Thinly Spread, Chris isn’t afraid to get a little messy and when I say a little I mean A LOT.  I don’t think there is anything kids love more than good old messy play.

Maria at Mummy’s Busy World brings us right into her life with her funny post.  I love how she makes a mouse sighting into a trip to McD’s! Always look on the bright side- Nom!

Anna over at Imagination Tree is a double finalist and for her family fun entry she show’s us how to make a Birthday tree.  Her little girl C looks like she’s having a blast working on the tree.  Such a good idea I might give it a try myself.

Let the fun continue!  The next group of finalist are all about Pre-School Fun!  What to do with your little before they’re in school that is a little interesting than a soft play!

Melaina over at Transatlantic Blonde is an Ex-pat like me so I have a soft spot for her.  It helps that she has a big heart and is lovely.  Her choice for the carnival is one where she passes on the love in a Save the Children post. It encompasses all that she is in a simple post.

Another Imagination Tree post from Anna.  The things she can do with a pipe cleaner, ah-may-zing!  LOL it’s a cheap and simple way to keep pre-schoolers entertained.

What can I say about Maggy at Red Ted Art? Amazing, talented, imaginative and hooo boy she’s another that can make magic with loo role tubes!  You’ll find detailed instruction WITH photos on how to do her activity which and most of it is recycled so a bonus all around.

Elsie at Flower Fairies and Fairy Cakes takes us along on a day at the beach with her family.  I can almost smell the sea air.

Maria at Mummy’s Busy World brings us right into her life with her funny post.  I love how she makes a mouse sighting into a trip to McD’s! Always look on the bright side- Nom!

If you haven’t already voted the please pop on over to cast your vote- you have until 14th of June!
