      It’s a kohlrabi and it’s bloody expensive! £1.50 for 1!!

Oh, I LOVE kohlrabi!!! We always just ate it raw growing up. My mom would peel it, slice it, and we’d sprinkle a little salt on it. The small ones are the best to eat this way. When they get larger they’re a bit more woody.

I’ve never had it raw. Actually never heard of it before yesterday. Might have to try it but like I said- bloody expensive!

Apparently it’s good in a slaw. It does taste a little cabbage-y. I have never eaten it any other way then how I had it as a child. 1.50 each is pretty expensive! They’re a dime a dozen over here, so happily we don’t have that problem anymore!

I love Kohlrabi! I eat in in salads all the time! Yummy! I also like jicama, quite similar!

where do you buy it and is it expensive? I found mine in Morrison’s and I’m wondering if it’s pricy because they’ve changed it to a “Fresh Market” and jacked up the prices!
