Fab little things is my space to showcase some of the things that I think are fab. They might be little corners of my house or items I own and love. Nothing grand just fab little things that make my heart sing. My first Fab Little Thing is I picked up this little guy at John Lewis and I am so in love with it. He’s hanging on my blackboard wall and looks amazing on there. I’ve named him Stan (The Stag) but Squidge has named him Dave the Dear. Yes, we are that corny! I think it looks amazing against the black chalkboard wall and adds a bit of whimsy to the room.
Another Fab Little Thing I want to share is this post by Molly at Play.Love.Grow. She, like a lot of us ( it’s not just me is it?!?) has inherited a lot of furniture- most of it of the orange pine variety. I love that she’s taken her hand at a little DIY and Annie Sloan’d the fazzile out of that pine table. I have a tin of Annie Sloan paint and a dark wood hallway table just waiting for me. Now I just need a few hours and a little bit of courage.
My second Fab Little Thing is this little moustache pendant by Victoria Wallop. I first started reading Victoria’s travel blog but not only did she travel the world with her family (my dream!) but she’s also a silversmith- basically she’s living the life I want to live. I just love her whimsical pieces.
