This post is a long time coming. Over the past year I’ve been putting on weight and kidding myself that it wasn’t as much as the scales were telling me it was. I was also listening to people who were telling me they couldn’t see a difference but when you see a picture of yourself you can’t keep lying to yourself.
This happened to me over the weekend while at BlogCamp- as the pictures of me came it was a huge wake-up call.
Well enough is enough. I’m going back to basics and doing what I did a couple of years ago- get back to Weight Watchers. It’s time to resurrect Weight Watcher’s Wednesdays. I’ll be tracking my weight every week and talking about what’s working, what isn’t working and what my triggers are. I’m sure none of this will be of interest to anyone but me so apologies if I bore people to sleep. It’s not just about how I look. I’m suffering from heartburn and that’s not something I’ve suffered from since I lost weight.
So the stats.
Currently: 11st 4.5lbs
Goal Weight: 9st 5lbs
My first weigh in at a Weight Watchers meeting is this Wednesday so I’ll update then.
Here’s to getting back into these jeans and more importantly to feeling better, to feeling fit.
