I’ve been invited by HomeSense to chat about my favourite baubles as part of their Hang a bauble campaign. I’ve chatted before about how we as family choose one new bauble every year. When I first moved to the UK our first Christmas tree was a sad and cheap looking tree. As cheap and tacky as it was it was OUR tree and it was the start of our live together so when I look back at pictures of that tree it makes me smile.
If you’re looking to add to your bauble collection think about popping into HomeSense and support them raise money for the leading children’s charity Action for Children. They have partnered with brands for less homeware retailer, HomeSense, for the sixth consecutive year to raise funds for Action for Children this Christmas.
Customers at HomeSense are able to buy a Christmas bauble for £1, on which they can write a festive message or their happiest childhood Christmas memory before hanging it on a special HomeSense Christmas tree in their local store. All proceeds from the bauble donations will go to Action for Children and its local services.
Suzanne Inch, Head of Retail for HomeSense, said; “At HomeSense, we believe in supporting our local communities and helping vulnerable children achieve their potential. With each of our 39 HomeSense stores raising money for local Action for Children projects, it means the money our customers give is re-invested in the area. HomeSense is part of TJX Europe which has had a long-standing relationship with Action for Children, supporting the charity for over a decade.
