Sunday mornings at our house are made for pots of coffee and lazy chats over the pancakes, sausages, toast and eggs. We’ve been doing this since we moved into our ‘new’ house 6 years ago and it’s my favourite day of the week because we don’t have to do anything. Well, that’s not true as Squidge would point out- we NEED to make pancakes! Sunday is also the only day we pick up a newspaper, we head out for an early morning walk and pick up the paper. It’s the perfect little outing, a quick pick me up before we tuck into our Sunday brunch.
I’m a bit of a newshound and have been since my 7th grade Social Studies teacher told us to pick up the Sunday paper and that every Monday we’d be discussing the news. I can still hear Mr Rollo telling us all to take out our News Notes. This Sunday we picked up The Sunday Times and I was most excited to settle into reading the newly revamped The Sunday Times magazine. It really didn’t disappoint especially for a foodie like me. The recipes in the magazine look amazing, we’re big fans of clams so I’m definitely going to try the Jaime Oliver’s Southend Chowder.
The Sunday Times is chock full of recipes and interesting articles- hello maintenance sex!
