Tiger Store Love

Happy Monday!

Ya’ll there’s a Tiger Store in Birmingham!

I’m a bit of a magpie and love to collect pretty things so I thought I’d share some things I picked up recently.  This weekend was BlogCamp (more about that in another post) and on the way back to the train I walked past, and straight into a Tiger Store.  Tiger stores are a Danish chain of home interiors and chotchkies. Think Ikea but much much smaller and without the furniture.  I just went in there to have a look but £30 later I walked out w/ a bag full of things I just couldn’t leave behind.  Although I am sorry I did walk away without buying a few things. Unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) there isn’t a Tiger store in Manchester.

Wooden Body

My favourite thing I picked up at the Tiger store was the

articulated wooden artist model.

I’ve been having a great time changing it’s position- today it’s Monday and he’s jumping for joy!  They had a small one and I’m sorry I didn’t buy them both.

felt bracelet

Isn’t this felt bracelet just the cutest thing ever?  I’ve seen these felt bracelets around for a while but have never known where I could buy one- enter Tiger Store!  So happy with it and I can’t wait to wear it out & about.

metal trays

The purchase I’m less sure of are these trays- I have two of the half circle (a blue and pink) and the one large green one. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with them but when did that stop me from buying something? The answer my friends is never! I also  picked up a small cake stand and a door stop that looks like a splat! Oooh and some jumbo straws that are perfect for super thick milkshakes and smoothies.

The Tiger stores have so many cute kitchen items- just perfect for food styling.  I would have picked up a lot more but I had to travel on the train.  I can’t wait until they open a Tiger store in Manchester.
